Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lakwatseros, operator of the "Lakwatseros" Facebook Page(s) and the Messenger assistant, collects and uses personal data when you message us on Facebook Messenger. We are based in the Philippines. This is a plain-language disclosure, not legal advice.

What data we collect

We only collect data from people who message our Facebook Page:

  • Your Facebook-scoped user ID (PSID) and your public Messenger display name.
  • The content of your conversation — the messages you exchange with the assistant — kept as chat history so the assistant has context.
  • If you choose to share them: your name, contact details (email/phone), what you're interested in, and any appointment or booking details you request.

Why we use it

To answer your inquiries, give you information, capture leads, and schedule bookings — in short, to respond to and serve people who contact our Page.

How it's processed & who we share it with

We use the following service providers (data processors) to run the assistant. Because of this, your data may be processed outside the Philippines:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook / Messenger) — the channel your messages come through.
  • OpenAI — your message content is sent to OpenAI's API to generate the assistant's replies and to index our own knowledge base. Processed in the United States.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — your message content is also sent to Anthropic's API to generate the assistant's replies. Processed in the United States.
  • Supabase — our database host where the records above are stored (Singapore, ap-southeast-1 region).
  • Our hosting provider (VPS) — runs the automation that powers the assistant.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Conversation history & chat memory: kept up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted — or sooner if you ask.
  • Leads & bookings: kept for as long as needed for the customer relationship and any legal or accounting requirements, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to its processing, and to have it erased or deleted. To exercise any of these, contact lakwatseros.zv@gmail.com.
